Jason Sauer is Zurich North America’s Regional Executive for the South Region. In this role, he is responsible for executing Zurich’s business strategy in the South, including delivering on growth and profitability goals, ensuring operational excellence and building strong relationships with customers and distributors. He has been with Zurich since 1996. Prior to his current role, Sauer served as the Area Executive for the Southwest. His previous leadership roles include Houston Area Executive, Branch Underwriting Manager for Middle Market Commercial, Assistant Vice President of the National Technology Underwriting team and Regional Manager for the Southwest Middle Market Commercial team.
External appointments
Sauer is active in local, regional and national community organizations, including Kids Meals, SBP, The First Tee, Fore!Kids Foundation and the Atlanta Humane Society along with the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of Make-A-Wish and the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Georgia Chapter – organizations where he previously held board positions.
Educational background
Sauer holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Illinois State University.
