As Chief Customer Officer for Zurich North America, Alban Laloum is responsible for setting the strategic direction for Marketing, Distribution and Customer Experience functions to further elevate customer excellence across North America.

Prior to his current role, Laloum served as Head of Customer Distribution, Marketing and Regional Management for Zurich Canada, accountable for regional management, national and regional broker relationships, broker management, Zurich Canada’s global customer management model and other distribution channels.

He joined Zurich as Global Broker Relationship Leader in December 2013. In that role, he was responsible for the strategic relationship management of a Global Broker across Zurich businesses. Laloum has built relationships with Global Brokers’ senior leaders around the world. Prior to joining Zurich, Laloum ran Marsh’s Multinational Practice globally for three years.

Laloum has 26 years’ experience as a broker, including positions with Gras Savoye/Johnson and Higgins, and with Marsh. At Marsh, he ran the International practice for the Midwest region before moving on to roles leading the Risk Management and Client Executive practice, co-lead of the Client Executive Practice for Marsh in the South Region, and running the Risk Management and Client Executive Practice at Marsh France. In that role, Laloum became part of the G5 (Fortune 500 segment) group, as well as running the sales management practice for this segment.

 

Educational background

Laloum holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Insurance from the University of Hartford, a post-graduate degree from Centre des Hautes Etudes d’Assurance in Paris, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
