Tom Fioretti

Skills and experience

Tom Fioretti is Chief Risk Engineering Officer for Zurich North America and Head of the Zurich Resilience Solutions business unit in the United States. He leads a team of approximately 400 engineers and is responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of risk management and loss prevention services for our customers as well as the study of emerging risks. His team specializes in the hazards of fire and explosion, natural hazards, Health and Safety, Energy, Machinery Breakdown, Construction, Cyber, Climate Change, and Supply Chain & Distribution. Fioretti was named to his current position in 2020. He joined Zurich in 2008 as Senior Vice President of Operational Transformation for North America Commercial, leading a team of Operations and Premium Audit professionals. Prior to joining Zurich, he had a 20-year career with AIG, where he co-founded AIG Small Business before serving as its Chief Operating Officer, leading the unit's underwriting, operations and distribution functions. After serving as Vice President of AIG's Global Reinsurance Group, he returned to AIG Small Business to serve as Executive Vice President.
