Congratulations on applying! As a candidate you will receive emails and communication from Zurich throughout the hiring process. Some roles may require you to take an assessment. If your qualifications align with the job responsibilities, a recruiter may contact you for an initial phone interview.

Managers select candidates whose skills and experiences best align with the role to participate in virtual interviews with the hiring manager and other key stakeholders. You might be invited to join an in-person interview. If you are selected as a finalist, we may then extend an offer. Prior to your first day, a background check will be required. (All offers are contingent upon successful clearance of third-party background screening.)

Thank you for your interest in Zurich! In the fall, we begin our recruiting efforts for summer internships for college students and training programs in underwriting, finance and more for college students and graduates. Fall is also when we ramp up recruiting for other early career roles. (Not all positions require a four-year degree.) Currently, for employees:

  • Employees will have access to Zurich offices regardless of vaccination status.
  • Routine COVID testing for unvaccinated employees will not be required unless otherwise specified by the customer or outside location.

Currently, masks are optional in all Zurich U.S. locations. Colleagues may wish to wear masks or face coverings when in the office, and this is supported and respected.

Currently, yes, domestic business travel is allowed, provided that employees follow the guidance from their Business/Function Head and the requirements set out by the local health officials for the location they’re traveling from and to.

Training and meeting your manager and colleagues would be accomplished through Zurich’s onboarding procedure. Your manager will share details of your first day agenda prior to starting work.
