Zurich U.S. Middle Market welcomes Technology Industry Practice leader

Zurich North America’s growing U.S. Middle Market team welcomes Jeannie Sullivan as Head of Technology, effective immediately. She will report to Stan Bernard, Head of Industry Practices for U.S. Middle Market at Zurich, a leading provider of commercial insurance products and services.

Sullivan will lead strategy development and execution for the technology industry practice, helping to ensure Zurich’s Middle Market team hones and delivers risk management solutions and insights that address key needs and opportunities for Middle Market technology businesses.

"Jeannie is a highly experienced executive with extensive technical knowledge and relationships in the marketplace,” Bernard said. "I’m thrilled to welcome her to our Industry Practices leadership team."

Sullivan brings 35 years of insurance experience, including in roles focused on the technology industry.

She most recently was at CNA Insurance Company, where she served as AVP – Commercial Officer for the middle market business unit. Before that, she held leadership positions at Berkley Technology Underwriters, including Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer.

She earlier was Vice President for the Technology & Medical Technology underwriting segment at OneBeacon Insurance Company. She also held various underwriting, sales and marketing roles in technology-focused practices at Chubb, The St. Paul Companies and PHICO Insurance Company. 

“Jeannie’s strong technical knowledge across E&O (Errors & Omissions), Cyber and Multinational lines is especially valuable for middle market technology companies,” Bernard said. “And she has played a key role in building one company’s technology practice from the ground up, a particularly impressive accomplishment.”

Sullivan is based in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
