Steve Penwright serves as Underwriting Technical Director for Zurich North America’s Large Property business unit. He is responsible for the portfolio management function that provides technical underwriting support to market facing underwriters. In addition, Steve’s responsibilities include execution of business strategies while developing tactics and initiatives that support profitability. Penwright joined Zurich North America in 2006 as an Enterprise Associate. He has held several underwriting positions in Large Property since 2007, including Northwest Area Manager, Large Property, based in San Francisco. Prior to Zurich he worked at third party claims administrator, ESIS.

Educational background

Steve is a graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Insurance & Risk Management.
