Russell Kelso

Skills and experience

Russell Kelso is Head of Internal Audit for Zurich North America (ZNA), where he is responsible for delivering all internal audit assurance activity for ZNA and Latin America. Kelso joined Zurich in 2018 and has 25 years of experience in both internal and external audit with a focus on Property & Casualty and Life insurance. Previously, he served as Head of Audit for The Warranty Group in Chicago and for Friends Life in the United Kingdom (UK). Prior to this, he worked in external audit with Deloitte, both in the UK and US, with a primary focus on insurance, brokers and other areas of financial services.

Educational background

Kelso earned his bachelor’s degree in French and economics from the University of Leicester in the UK. He is also a qualified UK Chartered Accountant.
